Congress Insider Trading hits main stream media , Peter Schweitzer, author of "Throw Them All Out," discusses the ethics of the House and Senate and the problem of insider trading in the U.S. Congress. He talks about the willingness of the SEC to enforce the rules, given that they have to answer to Congress.Members of Congress can legally make trades on non-public information they obtain during their official duties,Since Congress is Stealing $millions from our 401K's by insider trading then why does Congress need $170,000/year more of our Tax Dollars. Most a Congressman's time is spent making money for themselves, only 1-2 days /week they are actually in session selling out us taxpayers to corporate lobby's. If Congress doesn't work for the PEOPLE anymore then we don't need no Stinking Congress , Send the offending members of Congress to prison, and then retroactively strip them of their pay, benefits, and all financial gains since their first day in Congress. Also look for any suspicious activity for trades with their families. The penalties for this activity must be so shameful, invasive, and unforgiving that no one will dare do it again. These members of Congress blatantly violated their oath of office.
